Few Simple Changes That Exploded My Traffic (Part 2 of 3)

Can these FEW SIMPLE CHANGES take you from 1000 pageviews/month to 30,000 Pageviews/month …100,000 Pageviews/month …500,000 Pageviews/month and beyond

It’s a big mystery. Isn’t it?

How does one go from 1000-something pageviews/month to all the way to half-a-million Pageviews and beyond?

Well, a lot of bloggers try a lot of things like – 1. Getting a lot of followers 2. Pinning 100 times a day 3. Making their blog look pretty 4. Spending weeks crafting an “Oscar-winning” blogpost.

Have you ever wondered... What things actually do make the biggest difference?

I mean, what does Pinterest value the most? Does it even care about the things we are doing?

This is important because...once we figure that out, we get to answer an even more important question:

How does Pinterest decide which pin should get views and which pin should not? Which pin should go viral…and which pin should flop?

Once, we know 'for certain' what works, then we can open floodgates of traffic whenever we wish. We get to control and flood traffic to our blog…kind of like how the big bloggers (the real big guns) do it.

So, first why should we even care about what Pinterest wants? Why should we not just continue what we are doing? Why should we not continue trying methods that other bloggers are talking about?

Here is a quick answer:

It's kind of like getting a perfect birthday gift for a friend you haven't seen for years…

How do most people select gifts? What everybody tries to do is imagine what gifts other person wants. That’s at least how I do it.

Then, they go to a gift shop (or the internet) and spend hours trying different things - thinking, wondering, pondering, going back and forth...

Even then, when they find the "perfect gift", they still are not 100% happy about it. There are still a lot of doubts lingering in the back of the mind - will she like it? what if she already has it? etc.

Are you with me? OK.

What's the perfect answer?

Let's suppose we are in an ideal world… And what if we could, somehow, get in our friend’s brain and ask her - hey what would you want? What are you really craving for?

If we could just do that…wouldn't that make our life really easy?

The same way... What if we could just ask Pinterest what it wants- wouldn't our life be super simple then?

If we could figure out how Pinterest decides which pin is great and which isn't - then, we could get Pinterest to show our pin to a lot of people, and obviously we would get a ton of traffic…

Are you getting this? Until you figure out what Pinterest values the most - until then we will just keep trying random things…and we’ll keep getting random results.

But once we know ‘for certain’ that this is what Pinterest wants – then, we get as much traffic as we want on our blog, because we are finally in control.

Isn't that amazing? Isn’t that powerful?

Now, the hard part is to figure out exactly how Pinterest is making those decisions - this means we somehow have to figure out the internal workings of Pinterest…

Is it even possible to do that? Is it even doable? Well, it's kind of like picking a lock. Not easy especially if you're new.

However there is good news:

There is a simple way with which we can figure out how Pinterest makes “those” decisions.

Want to know what it is?

We are going to cover that on the next page.
